At Positive Paws Dog Training and Animal Care, we treat all of your pets as if they were our own.
All of the training we do is reward based, scientifically backed and ethical. We want dogs to have their own personality and to learn in the way that is right for both them and you.
GROUP CLASSES
Puppy:
This is a 6 week course where we will teach your puppy the art of positive reinforcement “if I do a certain behaviour, the human gives me nice stuff”.
We will learn positions – sit, down, stand, loose lead walking, recall, socialisation food manners… the options are endless.

Practical Paws:
This will follow on from the puppy classes where we will expand yours and your dogs knowledge and put them into the context of real life.

Progressive Paws:
In this class we learn new and more advanced behaviours to help build your bond with your dog even further.

Rally Paws:
Come and learn the sport of Rally obedience which focuses on the art of Teamwork around a course of directions.

Tricks:
Do you want your dog to be able to perform at family get togethers? We can help with that.

Children and dogs: If you are considering adding a dog to your family or already have a dog and are now planning to start a family,
I can provide consultations to give you everything you need to make sure you have a smooth transition and have considered all of your options.

INDIVIDUAL TRAINING AND BEHAVIOUR CONSULTATIONS
1:1 Training
1:1 training can be done in the comfort of your own home or at a local park depending on the training required. All training is followed up with a written report detailing the training plan and progress of your dog.
Prices:
1:1 Basic Training e.g. Lead pulling, recall, puppy training - £45. Discounts are available when you purchase a set of 3, 6 or 8 sessions.
1:1 Telephone or Video Session ranges from £30 - £40
1:1 Behaviour modification e.g. Reactivity, Separation anxiety: £50 per hour. This includes a telephone consultation to discuss yours and your dogs needs.

Mileage is charged at 45p per mile for any mileage over 5 miles from Staines, Middlesex
Please note you will be asked to attend an online consultation prior to any bookings to determine your training/ behaviour modification needs. Prices will be determined as result of the consultation.
DOG WALKING
Dog walking can be on an adhoc indivdual or group basis.
£15 per hour (+45p per mile for pick up and drop off for any journey further than 1 mile from Ashford)
ANIMAL CARE
If you are going on holiday and would like your cats or other small animals to stay in the comfort of your home then we will offer daily visits to feed, water and of course provide lots of love.
Animal care visits are £10 per visit
CHAPERONE SERVICE
Do you have a social event, party or wedding coming up in 2020 that you would like your dog to attend? I am offering a chaperone service so that you can have your dog with you but you don't have to worry about looking after them all day. Depending on location, I can collect your dog, bring it to the event and then take it home again reducing stress for both you and your furry family member.
